Careers & World of Work

 Pupils at the school have many Careers and World of Work experiences whether through the curriculum, competitions, live projects, work experience, visits.... We work closely with local companies and agencies such as Howell Castle, Y Gerddi Botaneg, Menter Cwm Gwendraeth and Cynllun Profi, Menter Gorllewin Sir Gâr.

Our Careers Adviser Careers Wales is Mr John Selby and he works on the school site 2 to 3 days a week.

If you are keen to get further advice about your options and planning your career, preparing to get a job, finding and applying for apprenticeships, courses and the right training then click on the Careers Wales website. Pupils are also able to make appointments to see the school Careers Adviser.

The Profi website is good for helping you learn more about the skills required within the world of work. It is also useful for keeping a record of your personal development while undertaking experiences and learning new skills.
