Llais Maes our School Council
At Ysgol Gyfun Gymraeg Maes y Gwendraeth, pupils have valuable opportunities to express their opinions on various areas that are important to them. At the moment, Llais Maes includes six forums that meet during the year to discuss, plan and act on issues that are important to them.
Our Forums:
- Llais Maes Forum
- Health and Wellbeing Forum
- Forum Environment Forum
- Welsh Forum
- Rewards Forum
- Curriculum Forum
Representatives from each year are members of the various forums. A year forum is held termly, with the Head of Year where the response of the year's pupils to various important issues, such as bullying and rewarding, is discussed. Two representatives from each registration class attend these meetings on behalf of their peers.
Every term, a newsletter is published which informs the school and our community about the important work that is being carried out in the forums.
